Eligibilty Criteria
Education Qualification
Candidates applying for SDSC SHAR Teacher Recruitment 2026 must have the following qualifications:
Post Code 01 – TGT (Maths) [To teach Maths & Physics]:
- Four year degree from NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks, including B.Ed component. (OR)
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject with B.Ed. with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution, (OR)
- Three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution.
- Must have studied Maths as elective or main subject in at least 3 years or 6 semesters. Physics in at least 1 year or 2 semesters.
- Qualified in CTET Paper-II – conducted by Government of India
- Ability to teach in Hindi & English.
Post Code 02 – TGT (Science) [To teach Chemistry & Biology]:
- Four year degree from NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks including B.Ed component, (OR)
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in Chemistry with B.Ed. with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution, (OR)
- Three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- Must have studied Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology as Hons/Main subject for at least 3 years or 6 semesters with required subsidiary subjects.
- Qualified in CTET Paper-II.
- Ability to teach in Hindi & English.
Post Code 03 – TGT Work Experience Teacher (WET):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution or universities.
- B.Ed. with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution.
- Ability to teach in Hindi & English and good knowledge of Computers.
Post Code 04 – TGT (Telugu):
- Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as main subject (OR) B.O.L. in Telugu (OR) Post Graduate Degree in Telugu.
- B.Ed. with Telugu as methodology OR Telugu Pandit Training from NCTE recognized institution.
- Qualified in State TET / CTET Paper-II (with Telugu as one subject).
Post Code 05 – Primary Teacher:
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), (OR)
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed., (OR)
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from RCI.
- Qualified in CTET Paper-I (conducted by Government of India).
- Ability to teach in Hindi & English.

Age Limit Relaxation as per Government of India rules:
