Education Qualification

Candidates must possess the following essential qualifications:

Essential Qualification — Part A (Master’s Degree):

Any ONE of the following:

• Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from a recognised university
• OR Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from a recognised university
• OR Master’s Degree in any subject (other than Hindi or English) with Hindi as the medium of instruction and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level from a recognised university

Essential Qualification — Part B (Translation Experience/Diploma):

In addition to Part A, candidates must ALSO have ONE of the following:

• Recognised Diploma or Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from a recognised institution
• OR Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in any Central Government or State Government office, including Government Undertakings

⚠️ Both Part A and Part B are mandatory. Candidates who have the Master’s Degree (Part A) but do not have the Translation Diploma or 2 years Government translation experience (Part B) are NOT eligible to apply.

Selection Process

There is no interview for STPI JHT Recruitment 2026. Selection is entirely through a Written Examination consisting of two papers:

Paper I — Objective Type (2 Hours)

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Paper II — Descriptive Type (2 Hours)

Salary Pay Scale
