SSC SSA/UDC Examination 2026 – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the recruitment notification officially for the Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2025. Eligible & interested departmental candidates can apply on or before 26/06/2026 through online mode.

As per the official SSC SSA/UDC Examination 2026 – SSC notification, a total of 227 vacancies have been announced for Senior Secretariat Assistant/Upper Division Clerk Grade (Pay Level-4, Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted) across 10 participating Services/Cadres.

This is a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination – only eligible serving Junior Secretariat Assistants/Lower Division Clerks of the participating cadres can apply, through their Head of Department/Office. The Computer Based Examination is tentatively scheduled for Jul-Aug 2026 in Delhi NCR only.

कर्मचारी चयन आयोग (SSC) ने वरिष्ठ सचिवालय सहायक/उच्च श्रेणी लिपिक संवर्ग सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा, 2025 (SSC SSA/UDC LDCE 2025-26) की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। इस परीक्षा के माध्यम से कुल 227 रिक्तियों को 10 विभिन्न केंद्रीय सेवाओं/संवर्गों में भरा जाएगा, जिनमें केंद्रीय पासपोर्ट संगठन, सशस्त्र बल मुख्यालय लिपिक सेवा, रेलवे बोर्ड सचिवालय, केंद्रीय प्रशासनिक अधिकरण, केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग, भारतीय निर्वाचन आयोग, भारतीय वन सर्वेक्षण, राष्ट्रीय तकनीकी शोध संगठन, रक्षा संपदा निदेशालय और MSME विकास आयुक्त कार्यालय शामिल हैं।

केवल वे कनिष्ठ सचिवालय सहायक/निम्न श्रेणी लिपिक (JSA/LDC) उम्मीदवार आवेदन के पात्र हैं, जो अपने संवर्ग की निर्धारित सेवा अवधि (3 से 6 वर्ष, संवर्ग अनुसार) पूरी कर चुके हैं। पात्र उम्मीदवार 26 जून 2026 तक अपने विभागाध्यक्ष/कार्यालयाध्यक्ष के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं। कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा जुलाई-अगस्त 2026 में दिल्ली NCR में आयोजित होने की संभावना है। चयनित उम्मीदवारों को वेतन स्तर-4 (Pay Level-4), Group ‘C’, ₹25,500–₹81,100 के अनुसार वेतन मिलेगा।

Candidates need to apply online on https://ssc.gov.in (One Time Registration + Application Form) and the printed copy duly forwarded by the Head of Department/Office to the Regional Director, SSC (Northern Region), New Delhi.

Selection Process

1. Paper I – Computer Based Examination (Objective, 200 Marks)
2. Paper II – Written Descriptive Exam: Noting, Drafting & Office Procedure (100 Marks)
3. Part II – Evaluation of Record of Service / APAR (100 Marks)
4. Final Merit List based on aggregate of Part-I + Part-II

Exam Pattern

Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer in Paper-I.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will get salary in Pay Level-4, Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, with pay scale of Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100.
