Candidates applying for this job must have completed.
Project Scientist-I (PS-I-1, PS-I-2, PS-I-3): Doctoral Degree in Science OR Masters/Integrated Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised University or equivalent + 4 years of experience in R&D in industrial/academic institutions or science & technology organisations.
Project Scientist-II (PS-II-1): Doctoral Degree in Science OR Masters/Integrated Masters Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised University or equivalent + 5 years of experience in R&D in industrial/academic institutions or science & technology organisations.
Project Scientist-III (PS-III-1 & PS-III-2): Doctoral Degree in Science OR Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology from a recognised University or equivalent + 7 years of experience in R&D in industrial/academic institutions or science & technology organisations.
Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT-1): Any one of the following:
- Masters/Integrated Masters Degree from a recognised University + 3 years R&D experience, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine + 3 years R&D experience, OR
- Masters/Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology + 2 years R&D experience, OR

Walk-in Interview mode only — No online application required. Candidates must appear directly for the walk-in interview on 30th June 2026 at CSIR Innovation Complex, Mumbai. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Refer to the notification attached for more details.
Selection Process
Walk-in Interview / Personal Discussion.
Candidates must bring the following at the time of interview:
- Original certificates/testimonials (age, qualification, marks, experience)
- Two copies of self-attested recent passport size photographs
- Self-attested copies of all certificates/testimonials
- Neatly typed bio-data on A4 paper
- Printout of duly filled application form
- Reserved category candidates must bring original category certificate issued by appropriate authority
- If currently employed, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer required at the time of joining
Note: Candidature is purely provisional subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified.
Salary Pay Scale
Selected candidates can get a stipend range from Rs. 42,000/- to Rs. 78,000/- + HRA per month depending on the post applied for.
