Application Mode & Fee
- Applications are accepted through Offline (Postal) mode only, addressed to Commandant, GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Pune – 411015.
- Application Fee: ₹50/- for General, EWS, OBC, Ex-Servicemen & Ex-Agniveers.
- Application Fee: Nil for SC, ST & PwBD candidates.
- Fee to be paid online via SBI Collect and the e-receipt attached with the application.
- Application form to be printed on A4 size, 75 GSM bond paper (one side only); Admit Card on both sides of a single sheet.
- One application per envelope, for one post/trade only. Multiple applications for the same post — only the last received will be considered.
- Superscribe the envelope with “APPLICATION FOR (NAME OF TRADE/POST) Under Category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM/CPL)”.
Selection Process
Selection for BRO GREF Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following stages:
- Written Examination (Objective/Subjective, bilingual – English & Hindi)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 1 mile (1.6 km) run in 10 minutes
- Trade Test (TT) – qualifying, minimum 40% marks (for applicable posts)
- Primary Medical Examination (PME) & Document Verification (DV)
- Induction/Training at GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Pune
Minimum qualifying marks in the written exam: 50% (UR/EWS/OBC) and 40% (SC/ST). PET & TT are qualifying in nature with no weightage in the final merit. PwBD, ESM, Ex-Agniveers and departmental candidates are exempted from PET.
How To Apply?
- Visit the official BRO website at bro.gov.in.
- Download the prescribed Application Form & Admit Card for Advt No. 01/2026.
- Print the form on A4 size 75 GSM bond paper (application: one side; admit card: both sides of one sheet).
- Fill the form in English/Hindi in CAPITAL letters, sign, and affix your left-hand thumb impression.
- Paste a recent colour photograph (not older than 3 months) at the prescribed place.
- Pay the application fee online (where applicable) via SBI Collect and attach the e-receipt.
- Enclose self-attested copies of all required certificates (educational, caste/category, EWS, disability, experience, etc.).
- Superscribe the envelope with the trade/post and category applied for.
- Send the completed application by Postal Service only to: Commandant, GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Pune – 411015.
