• Minimum 10 years of teaching experience as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) or Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in a recognised school

For Vice Principal (Pay Level 10):

• Master’s Degree in any subject from a recognised university or institution
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree from a recognised university or institution
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) OR 3 years of experience as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in a recognised school

Salary Pay Scale

The overall package for a Principal at Level 12 works out to approximately Rs. 1,40,000 – Rs. 1,60,000 per month gross in Delhi. For Vice Principal at Level 10, approximately Rs. 90,000 – Rs. 1,00,000 per month gross. Both posts come with pension, medical benefits, leave encashment and other long-term service benefits.
