Education Qualification

• Minimum Qualification – Graduate Degree (Bachelor’s Degree in any stream) from a recognised university or its equivalent
• The degree must be obtained on or before the last date of application – 14.08.2026
• Candidates awaiting their final year results are NOT eligible to apply
• Higher qualifications are acceptable but do not confer any additional advantage

Age Limit

Cut off date is 1st July 2026 & Age Limit Relaxation is applicable as per norms and procedure mentioned below,

• OBC-NCL — 3 years (Maximum 36 years)
• PwBD (UR) — 10 years
• PwBD (OBC) — 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) — 15 years

• Persons domiciled in J&K from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 — 5 years

Application Fees Details

Fee payment is online only – Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI. Fee payment deadline is 16th August 2026.

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

Stage 1 – Computer Based Test

This is a single stage test, 120 minutes for 100 questions and 1/3 mark for wrong answer. Minimum Qualifying Marks as category wise UR – 40%, EWS – 40%, OBC – 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25%.

Stage 2 – Computer Based Aptitude Test

Shortlisting to the vacancies 42 marks in each test for candidates. No negative marks.

• Document Verification – Shortlisting at 1:1 ratio of vacancies based on combined CBT + CBAT merit score
• Medical Test: MEDICAL Standard A(2) – Candidates must meet the prescribed vision and fitness standards for the Section Controller post. Refer to the official notification for complete A-2 medical standard details.

Salary Pay Scale

• Full pay scale range – Rs. 35,400 – Rs. 1,12,400
• Gross monthly emoluments with allowances – approximately Rs. 55,000–60,000/month
