Education Qualification
Candidates must have the below mentioned educational qualification,
- For Executive Trainee (Electrical) – B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a UGC/AICTE recognised university or institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
- For Executive Trainee (Mechanical) – All three divisions – B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a UGC/AICTE recognised university or institution with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
No post-qualification work experience is required – fresh graduates who appeared for UPSC ESE 2024 interview can apply directly.
Mandatory condition
Candidates must have the below eligibility,
- Appeared in written round of UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024
- Been called for Personal Interview in the UPSC ESE 2024 & must appeared
- NOT been finally recommended by UPSC for selection
Candidates who did not appear for the UPSC ESE 2024 interview are NOT eligible even if they cleared the written round.

Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
