Eligibility Criteria for Various Post in UPSC Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualification

Assistant Chemist – Master Degree in Chemistry / Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering (or) Diploma in Chemical Engineering related qualification.

Assistant Geophysicist – Master Degree in Physics / Geophysics / Geology / Mathematics (or) B.E in Electronics & Communication from a recognized University or Institute or College

Assistant Director (Scientific C) – Master Degree in Botany / Zoology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Forensic Science / Physical Anthropology / Genetics (or) Bachelor Degree in Botany / Zoology

Senior Scientific Officer (Scientific B) – Master Degree in Chemistry / Toxicology / Biochemistry / Forensic Science (or) Bachelor Degree in Chemistry

Senior Lecturer (Forensic Medicine) – Basic University or equivalent qualification included in Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and candidate must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register (or) M.D in Forensic Medicine

Sub Divisional Engineer (Public Health) – Degree in Civil Engineering

Assistant Chemist & Assistant Geophysicist – Maximum age limit is 30 years
Assistant Director (Scientific “C”) – Maximum age limit is 40 years
Senior Scientific Officer (Scientific “B”) & Sub Divisional Engineer (Public Health) – Maximum Age limit is 35 years
Senior Lecturer (Forensic Medicine) – Maximum age limit is 50 years
